Yoga Under Gear
2 items for HER and 2 items for HIM to go under your workout gear for a more comfortable workout.
1. Rachel Says: I love a zip-front sports bra! When you are done with a sweaty workout it is easy to remove. The UnderArmour Endure Zip Front Sports Bra is for D cups ONLY. This same bra (without front zip) for smaller cup sizes is Under Armour style 1001231.
The full cups on this bra provide total coverage, with light foam lining for protection and modesty. It is a combo encapsulation / compression bra, meaning each breast has its own cup, and at the same time breasts are held in tightly for high impact workouts. I even did jumping jacks while wearing mine and my breasts stayed put! HeatGear fabrication wics moisture away like no other fabric can. The fabric is also soft and smooth – almost slick. The back criss-crosses and is made from breathable mesh for ventilation. Padded shoulder straps for comfort and support. Mine has held up perfectly with a few machine washes and line drying.
2. Alayna says: The
Lunaire Coolmax Underwire Sports Bra is well constructed and solid. Although the look of the bra is a bit Madonna-ish, circa late ’90′s, the wide bands and stiff fabric offer a good deal of support. The fabric wics moisture away and was comfortable for the duration of my spinning and Yoga workout. Each breast is encapsulated and supported to a higher degree than your average workout bra. This minimizes bouncing and helps keep breast tissue from stretching and sagging.
The underwire was not uncomfortable as it is well enveloped by fabric. The stitch work is flawless and resilient. It held up very well with a machine wash and a line dry. This bra is suited for high impact and sweaty workouts. This bra fits the way you would want a high performance sports bra to fit! It has a very full cup, so if you are between cup sizes, go down a size for this bra.
3. Jeff says: The Calvin Klein Steel Micro Boxer Brief was designed to celebrate Calvin Klein’s 25th anniversary of creating stylish men’s underwear. (Remember Back to the Future?) A few years ago, it would have been the perfect underwear for me. It’s unbelievably soft and extraordinarily comfortable to wear all day long. Before trying this boxer brief, I didn’t think this kind of comfort could be achieved outside of bamboo. The look is nice with the ultra wide waistband and “in your face” Calvin Klein logo. My only complaint is that they’re a wee bit on the long side for me, making them warm for a workout but great for throughout the day wear. I’ve migrated more toward liking the shorter “trunk” style boxer briefs. Guys who like boxers and shy away from briefs will be big fans of this one, though. (Rachel says: And the ladies think they’re sexy! I love the metallic silver band and the fabric is ULTRA soft!!) ON SALE NOW!
4. Jeff says: The cut of the Diesel Breddox trunk is almost perfect – not too long and not too short. While not nearly as soft and comfortable as the Calvin Klein Steel Micro boxer, I’m perfectly fine wearing the Breddox trunk all day long. I like the curved line near the crotch and the wide Diesel waistband that has a comfort lining on the inside. The view from the rear is not quite as nice as the front – the seams kind of square off the butt. I’d prefer a look that hugs my curves. Overall, however, this is solid underwear.

A note from Yoga instructor Lora Hogan:
The founder of Ashtanga Yoga, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, said “Practice – and all is coming.” Remember this—things take time. Every day, you make a little progress. Every day, you make a step towards venturing further in your yoga pose, in the pose of your life. When you feel angry, practice yoga. When you feel sad, practice yoga. When you are happy, practice yoga. When you are in love, practice yoga. Practice. Practice. The answers to life are never obvious. They can be slow. There are days of impatience, days of spiritual reward, days of sorrow. But every day, we are moving towards being the ultimate person we can be. If we keep on practicing. So practice. You’ll be surprised what a difference it can make. “All is coming.” Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow. But some day. If we just keep breathing. Just keep practicing. Just keep living in the present moment.

I forgot to mention that the UnderArmour bra is part of the “heat gear” line, made to keep you cool as your temperature rises, or if you are working out in hot weather.
