Andrew Christian Almost Naked boxer brief Review

Andrew Christian Almost Naked Boxer BriefAndrew Christian’s Almost naked line was created to give men the ability to “let it all hang out” without having to worry about rubbing on a zipper or crotch seam. The overall effect is to have the security of wearing underwear without the restriction. That sounds great, so I gave the boxer brief a try.

The Look: 8 out of 10. The look of the Almost Naked boxer brief is pretty solid. It’s simple with no visible seams except at the front near the pouch. The pouch itself looked a little “saggy” when I first pulled the brief out of the drawer, but that all changed when I put it on. When worn, the pouch fills in nicely, creating an attractive curve around the “package”. The waistband features the Andrew Christian name along with the cross logo. The usual Andrew Christian red tag hangs down from the waistband.

The Fit: 7 out of 10. The Almost Naked boxer brief fits snugly, hugging the body gently. The underwear warmly envelopes the body when it’s put on, but then quickly disappears. For the most part, you’ll forget you’re wearing it. The pouch fills out nicely, holding the “package” away from the legs and providing a slight enhancing effect under all but the loosest of pants. Although sized right, my one complaint is that these boxer briefs tended to ride up my “crack” a little during the day. This was moderately annoying and I found myself picking at them from time to time.

The Feel: 10 out of 10. Almost naked feels better than naked. The fabric is very light bamboo. It’s not at all heavy or restrictive. It moves and expands with the body without providing any significant resistance. It’s unbelievably soft on the inside and the outside. Even the waistband, while snug, is light and soft. After washing, the fabric only grew softer. I really can’t say enough about how great this boxer brief feels.

Overall: 8 out of 10. Overall, Andrew Christian has another winner with the Almost Naked boxer brief. The feeling of the fabric is fantastic. It’s just as soft as the C-In2 Army trunk, but much lighter. The look is good and the fit is nice with the exception of the tendency to ride up a bit in the rear. I definitely recommend checking out this boxer brief (or the brief if that’s your preferred style) the next time you’re shopping for new underwear.
