Well, here in the U.S. there’s only one more day before the massive deluge of campaign ads ends.  Where we make our home in Florida (one of the so-called “battleground” states), it’s difficult to turn on the T.V. without wondering whether you’ve accidentally tuned into election coverage rather than what you’d intended to watch…unless you’ve actually tuned into election coverage in which case it’s tough to tell what’s an ad and what’s programming.

Yes, by the end of tomorrow (barring a repeat of 2000) we’ll have a winner in this election.  If recent polls are wrong and Barack Obama should happen to lose, then look out Calvin Klein because he may just take the underwear world by storm.  Actually, these Obama boxer briefs are the brainchild of designer label, Andrew Christian.  They’re a stretchy soft cotton/lycra blend so they’re sure to be comfortable.  They feature a face shot of Barack on the right leg and a giant “08″ across the rear.  The waistband is fully elastic and is embossed with the Andrew Christian logo.

So, if you support Obama and the yard sign just isn’t enough, then you can stand on the street corner wearing these.  Andrew Christian has put together a short low budget film to promote their Obama underwear line (there are women’s styles available too).  Check it out here if you like, but be aware that it’s a little over the top.
