Product Review: Body Linens Cami/Capri set

Body Linens is a company that has a simple concept that came from one of those great AHA! moments. Let’s just say you don’t sleep nude, and let’s just say you’re shopping for some great sheets you want to have for a long time. Typically great sheets are sold by thread count. But how great can the feel of the sheets be if you are wearing crummy PJs?

This AHA! moment led Jeena Hunget, Owner of Body Linens, to create cotton pajams sold by thread count of the finest 100% Egyptian cotton. She puts a lot of time into research, designs, fabric, and customer service.

Although their designs, website, packaging and everything else follow a KISS Philosophy and keeps everything simple-yet-sophisticated; the quality really shows in the details of these PJs. From the genuine mother-of-pearl buttons to the French seams, which provide a finished look inside and out. Also, all of the PJs are tagless. Some styles can be monogrammed too. But don’t just buy them for gifts. Pamper yourself with the most luxurious cotton sleepwear!

I tried the Body Linens Cami/Capri pants set made from white, 500 thread count cotton with pink stitched ruffle trim at the top’s empire waist (all the way around to the back) and the at the hem of the pants legs.

The Look on the hanger: 10 out of 10. These PJs are adorable. The attention to detail sold me! I love that the pink stitching goes all the way around the back, and that the back is elastisized for a great fit. Instead of making the top too big (to fit over your head and then not fit your bust well), there are 3 pearl buttons down the left side. The pants have a very narrow drawstring at the waist.

The Fit: 6 out of 10. I am a size 6/8. I almost always wear a medium, and on some lucky days I wear a small. The capri pants did not fit me well in a medium. They were snug to pull up and I was scared to sit cross-legged in them. I suggest ordering a size up in pants. The top is snug, but in a good way. I feel like my breasts are supported by the empire waist stitching. I feel a bit too exposed to wear them in front of, say, my father-in-law, but covered enough to wear them in front of the kids. I also like that the soulder straps adjust like a bra.

The Feel: 10 out of 10. The cotton is lucious. I can’t feel the shoulder strap adjusters at all when I lie down in these. Tagless is a beautiful thing in pajamas that I did not know I was missing.

Overall: 8 out of 10. I would recommend them and buy them as a gift even for my most discerning fashion friends, but would be careful about the sizing. Next I want to try the 800 thread count robe!
