Slimpressions Shapewear giveaway!

Recently we had a family party weekend. One of those times you dress up Friday night, dress up Saturday, go out Saturday night, brunch on Sunday… you know the drill. And each time you meet some great aunt’s cousin you never knew and have to wear pantyhose and pearls.

Luckily, I had a secret tucked in my back pocket. Well, not in my pocket – actually, it was under my clothes. I received a package from Slimpressions containing a black cami slimmer, a nude cami slimmer, a black hi-waist panty slimmer and a nude hi-waist panty slimmer. Friday night I wore a black dress with the black hi-waist panty slimmer underneath, Saturday I wore a flowered sundress with the nude hi-waist panty slimmer underneath, and Saturday night I wore my Ed Hardy cami with the black cami slimmer peeking out. This leaves one nude cami slimmer left for me to give to ONE LUCKY READER!

The cami and Hi-Waist Control Panty both get put on by stepping into them. (If you try pulling the cami over your head you won’t make it much further below your neck before it gets all rolled up and compressed in your armpits.) The cami is part of the skinny mini collection. It provides upper body control and tummy. The spaghetti straps are adjustable. The cups are soft for natural chest coverage but because they are made from the stretchy shapewear fabric they keep the girls where they belong. It’s also tagless for comfort. The ribbed midriff fabric provides “flab-u-less all-around support” – meaning your tummy, back, chest, and even a bit of hips get held in without squeezing the life out of you.

The long torso works great for tucking or layering. I wore mine to work all day twice and it stayed over my hips for the whole day while sitting at my desk. It’s available in black, chocolate, white and nude. I was also comfortable wearing the cami all day under a tank at Disney. It helped keep a barrier between my sweat and my tank, so I didn’t look icky all day. And it’s machine washable!

The Hi-Waist Control Panty provides tummy and waist Shaping while lifting the butt too. It holds my tummy so well that it makes my jeans a size too big. When I tried it under a sundress I felt a bit like the extra tummy-tucking support caused an extra bubble to appear over the top of the panty. This was a lot less noticeable under the heavier fabric of my black dress than the light sundress. I guess everything has to get pushed somewhere… The comfortable waistband is non-binding & non-rolling. Available in black and nude.
