Last year, a Fox News reporter, Catherine Donaldson-Evans got to attend the Oscars for the first time. Her journey involved finding the right dress, jewelry, hair style, makeup, and shapewear. She’s not alone. Shapewear is probably the one thing that the ladies on the Red Carpet most often have in common.

In doing some research for our live Academy Awards event tomorrow, I’ve come across a couple of videos about just how common shapewear is among celibrities:

I can’t tell you how many times Rachel and I have been watching the Academy Awards together and she’s commented on how she doesn’t look as good as the stars because she can’t afford surgery to fix her “flaws”. The reality is that most of the stars aren’t having that surgery either. We tend to hear a lot about the ones that do, but the rest just know how to use their underwear to their advantage.
