Product Review - Hanky Panky PJs

Our favorite thong maker occasionally hits other markets like camis, tops, and PJs. During National Pajama Month I tried the Hanky Panky Pointelle PJ. I give this set mixed reviews.
The look on the hanger: 9/10. These look cute and casual. They don’t have a very sexy look, and don’t look too youthful - they’re somewhat in the middle - mature but casual. Great for girls weekend getaways, dorm rooms, curling up with a rented movie and a S.O., etc. They are a light, baby pink with some cream lacy trim and a floppy bow in the front of both the top and pants. The top is an empire waist cami with narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. They earn the name pointelle from the little points or dots cut out of the fabric, like eyelette but tinier.
The fit: 4/10. This is where I had some trouble. The pants fit me just great in length, but I am just under 5′4. If you’re 5′5-5′8 they would look to short. If you’re 5′8 or over, they would look like capris and you might be able to get away with it. The cut is loose without being baggy, so they skim the hips and butt nicely without being tight anywhere. And they have an elastic waist that easily slides up and down. I like the cream trim around the ankles.
The biggest problem I had was with the top. The breast area has no support at all, but for someone with smaller boobs, perkier boobs, or fake boobs that would not be a problem. For me it was, and every time I bent over in these pajamas one breast would slip out over the top of the cami style tank top. We were staying at a hotel and whenever I pulled anything out of the suitcase I flashed my family. It is cut low and for me it was too low. But it is a long top that provides some tummy and hip coverage if you like that. There is a bit of lace trim at the top of each cup, and after one wash and dry (in the washer and dryer on gentle in a lingerie bag) the lace on the top right came detached.
The feel: 10/10. These are light, comfortable and easy to sleep in. The shoulder straps stay in place and don’t dig in.
Overall: 7/10. I think if I layer with a regular cami I could wear them in front of people other than my husband.
