Isotoner Slippers are the BEST!

With all the great pajamas available to wear during National Pajama Month, we can’t forget our feet! Although your slippers and PJs don’t have to match, it sure looks cute when they do. I find that older adult women tend to replace their slippers very frequently, and thus a great pair of comfy slippers that go on easily make a great gift. You can usually have a general idea of shoe size and still get a good fit even if you are off by a bit, I’ve noticed.
This month I put aside my old slipper socks - which were “free” with my surgery a couple years ago, and got myself a pair of wonderfully soft PillowStep Micro Terry Clogs from Isotoner. They support your foot completely with what they call Secret Sole. I like that they do not go completely around the heel of my foot, so I can slip them on easily without my hands. But they do come up slightly in back in a “heel cradle” so they don’t come off when I go down steps. The inside of the slipper appears to be quilted on the bottom, providing a cushioned softness they call PillowStep. They cushion every step and spring back, almost like a new pair of sneakers do. The top is an easy to clean terrycloth, and the bottom is a white plastic non-skid outsole. After 2 weeks of wearing these after work every day, I can honestly say they are the most comfortable slippers I have ever owned in my life! They provide arch support, which I love because my house is filled with flat floors of wood and tile. And they are machine washable! They come in a few fun colors and leopard print.
I’m going to get my mom the Velour PillowStep Clogs. They have the same look, feel, shape and pillow step, but the top is covered with velour instead of terrycloth, and has a satin trim. They have a richer look.
