Lingerie seems to come out from under the clothing for Halloween.  It’s like many women have this desire to show off their lingerie (and their bodies) all through the year and Halloween finally presents a valid excuse.  If you find yourself in that situation, you’ll be happy to know that Frederick’s of Hollywood has stepped up to the plate.  They’re offering a range of Halloween costumes based on various accessories combined with items from their catalog.

They’ve developed a fun little section of their website called “Spotlight on Fantasy” where you get to design your own costume.  If you’re not feeling very creative, you can also choose from several pre-made costume kits.  The cool part is that there are so many options to suit everyone’s comfort level. 

For example.  The “Sexy Little Devil” kit comes with red pointy ears, a pointy red tail, and a red pitchfork.  Now, pair those accessories with jeans and red corset and you’ve got a fun and flirty costume for a party with your friends.  You can even wear it while walking the kids around the neighborhood.  Take the same 3 accessories, put them together with a lacy red chemise and some thigh high stockings and you’ve got a very hot costume for that adults only party.  Now take the ears, tail and pitchfork, put them together with a sheer red babydoll, a red pushup bra, a red thong and red fishnet stockings.  You’ve got an instant bedroom fantasy.

If you’re on a budget, most of the accessories can be purchased for less cash at your local party supply store.  For the convenience of putting the whole costume together in one place, it’s hard to beat the Frederick’s Spotlight on Fantasy.  One word of caution: The application that Frederick’s has built is a little annoying to use.  In most cases, when you put an item in your shopping bag, you have to go back through the process of selecting the costume theme you want before you can choose the next related item.
