Back in October, we talked about bamboo as an emerging choice in natural fiber underwear. At that time, we were only able to offer the ladies bamboo panties from Ballet’s Zhen line, but now Chantelle has introduced a set of bamboo panties and a three quarter cup bra.

The set features simple lines and metal accents. It’s far from ugly, but it’s built more for comfort than for style. The whole set is made from a blend of nylon, bamboo rayon, polyester, cotton and spandex. The resulting texture is that of an extremely soft jersey fabric. If you’ve ever worn bamboo fabric, you’ll know that this combination promises to be extraordinarily comfortable.

The three quarter cup bra is accented by a metal hoop on the center core, while the thong and boyshort are accented by a Chantelle branded metal tag. Each piece is colored with a simple contrasting light/dark combination available as beige and cream (shown) or grey and black. We’re excited to see a brand like Chantelle offering bamboo pieces and we hope others will soon follow suit.
