1st National Sleep-In Day!

What: P.J. SALVAGE will sponsor the first national sleep-in to promote great health, and donate 500 Pairs of Pajamas to Pajama Program, the charity.

Details: P.J. Salvage encourages Americans to take the morning to sleep-in on Saturday, February 19, 2011 to recuperate from everyday daily stresses and lack of sleep. The benefits of getting enough sleep include: improving overall health, strengthening awareness and reaction speeds and improving physical fitness.

In conjunction with National Sleep-in Day, P.J. Salvage will donate 500 pairs of pajamas to Pajama Program, a non-profit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need from around the world in orphanages, group homes and shelters waiting & hoping to be adopted. P.J. Salvage will make donations in NYC and Los Angeles.

P.J. Salvage will also offer three different contests on National Sleep-in Day to win P.J. Salvage products.

  • “The Benefits of Sleep” Contest: P.J. Salvage has a survey on their website (www.pjsalvage.com) about the health benefits of sleep. 5 lucky winners will be selected at random on February 21, 2011, to win a P.J. Salvage National Sleep-in Day gift pack including PJs and slippers.
  • “Best P.J. Salvage Sleep-in” Contest: Document your sleep-in on February 19, 2011, through photos and video tweeted to P.J. Salvage’s Twitter account (@PJSalvage). 1 winner will win free pajamas for a year, receiving a set of P.J. Salvage pajamas, a robe or slippers every month.
  • “The Largest Sleep-in” Contest: P.J. Salvage will award the largest group to participate in National Sleep-in Day together. Document your Sleep-in group with pics and video and tweet them to @PJSalvage. The winning group will receive robes and slippers for the entire group!
