A stiletto is a short knife or dagger that is used primarily as a stabbing weapon.  It gained favor among assassins during the Renaissance because it was easily concealed and easily slipped through the plates of a knight’s armor.  Stiletto heels were so named because they closely resemble the shape of this deadly weapon.

The bustier carries a Renaissance theme through the overall shape provided by the lines of the boning.  The foam lined cups and front panel contrast nicely with the side panels and rear, which are made of sheer mesh.  The tiered skirt is removable, as are the fully adjustable straps.  The rear makes use of a 1 column, 13 hook and eye closure.
