New barely there Bras reviewed

Guest post by Blogger Marnie, who tried two new barely there bras for free. The opinions are her own. She added one to her daily drawer and probably won’t continue to wear the other.

barely there Invisible Look Unlined Underwire bra

barelythere1The Barely There Invisible Look bra collection has seamless, soft bras that provide great support. I tried the Barely There Invisible Look Unlined Underwire bra.

Look on the hanger: 10 out of 10.

This bra looks very nice on the hanger. It’s a nude color with a tone-on-tone jacquard pattern to the material which makes it prettier than plain nude. It is also available in white and pink. This bra has unlined underwire cups that provide support without bulk. Unlined means they aren’t full of padding to add bulk.

I like the look of the front snaps, which allow the bra’s straps to become a racer back, providing wardrobe flexibility. (barely there calls these “Quick Change convertible shoulder straps”.)

The Fit: 9 out of 10.

Having never worn a bra from this line before, I tried the size I was most recently fitted as (34D). It fits great in the band and cups. Normally I wear the band on the loosest hook and move it in as the elastic ages (every 3-4 months), but this band feels loose so I am wearing this bra on the tightest hook for a snug fit. The cups feel very natural with great spacing. The straps are narrow and dig into my shoulders a little. In the racer back configuration, the straps have to be as long as possible for comfort. This bra has a smooth, line-free look under T-shirts.

The Feel: 9 out of 10.

This fabric is soft, smooth, and comfortable. The bra is tagless for added comfort. The cups and underwire moved gently with me for all day comfort.

Overall: 9 out of 10.

This is a great bra and is something I will wear on a regular basis. I recommend this bra to anyone over dress size 4.

barely there Modern Push-Up Underwire

barelythere2The Look on the hanger: 10 out of 10.

This bra looks very nice on the hanger. It’s a nude color with a slight pattern to the material which makes it prettier than plain nude. (Also available in peach, blue, black, aqua and white.) This bra has graduated foam in the cups with extra foam at the bottom for a great push-up look.

I like the look of the front snaps that allow this bra’s straps to become a racer back, providing wardrobe flexibility.

The Fit: 7 out of 10.

I am wearing this bra on the center hook for a snug fit. The cups feel a bit wide, and thus this bra doesn’t provide as much cleavage as my other push-up bras. If you are very petite in width, this might not be the right bra for you. The straps are narrow and dig into my shoulders a little but nothing uncomfortable. In the racer back configuration, the straps have to be as long as possible for comfort. This bra has a smooth, line free look under t-shirts.

The Feel: 5 out of 10.

This fabric is soft and comfortable. The bra is tagless for added comfort. The cups feel great at first but by the end of the day, the side underwire under my arms is uncomfortable and digging into my skin. This bra reminds me of underwire bras from the ’90s.

Overall: 6 out of 10.

I will not wear this bra often because of my discomfort from the underwire after wearing the bra all day.

In addition to clicking our links and finding these bras online (on sale now), you can also try them on for yourself at Kohl’s.
