I feel pretty…
You know that song from West Side Story…I feel pretty…oh so pretty… That is how I feel in my new bra! Actually, the day it came in the mail I wore it to dinner with satin PJ pants and the bra on top and nothing else. Just to show it off to Jeff. And no, that is not something I typically do.
The bra is Felina’s Nicole seamless push up. Mine is in Spearmint, which is almost a very light aqua or moss green. The trim is cream embroidery. The cups are lined and padded on the inside, and covered with lace on the outside – with a bit of satin over the underwire. That, paired with the tiny bow and satin covered button in the middle, makes the bra very luxurious and feminine. The back strap is see through mesh. The shoulder straps are embroidered. It’s just so dainty and pretty!
I was afraid the deep plunge in front would not offer enough support (I’m 36-D) but it does! And I was afraid the lace covered cups would show through my light-weight clothes, but they don’t! In fact there are 3 darts under each cup, which help make this bra so hard to see under clothes, despite its ornate exterior. It’s quite unexpected and I LOVE it. I have worn it twice, both times all day from work at 9:30am till changing for bed at around 10pm. It did not pinch or dig into me. The straps stayed put. There is this extra mini strap in front for decoration which I don’t quite ‘get’, but Jeff thinks they are quite sexy – so, whatever!
I think with its comfort factor, low price, great push up, deep plunge, sexy look and invisiblity — it may just be near to being the perfect bra. I’ll keep you posted…

How often do bra straps look sexy? Typically, it’s the cups, or the plunge or something else that makes a bra sexy. Now, I’m not saying that the extra mini strap makes the bra by any means, but I think that it’s a nice detail to enhance the overall look.
The Felina Nicole is, indeed, a great general bra. As Rachel said, it looks great alone as a sexy lingerie piece, but it also does its job underneath clothing. We were both surprised that the decorative lace on the cups did not show through even her thin, form fitting T-shirts.
This one is perfect for those after work dinner dates when you don’t have time to change. It’ll do its job all day and still look great that night.
