This Breast Cancer Awareness month there is an exciting partnership with Olga®, the full-figure intimate apparel brand, and My Hope Chest, the only national non-profit organization that provides breast reconstruction for uninsured and under-insured breast cancer survivors.
Olga®’s Facebook page has an application where you can create unique panels to add to a Virtual Quilt, and for every panel created $1.00 will be donated to My Hope Chest. For approximately every $10,000 My Hope Chest collects, they pay for the reconstruction surgery of a breast cancer survivor. Bringing boobies back to those who have lost them aides in the “final step of breast cancer treatment” by helping to restore self-esteem and fully heal the mind, body and spirit.
My Hope Chest was founded in 2003 by Alisa Savoretti. After surviving her own struggle with breast cancer and waiting three years for reconstruction due to lack of insurance, Savoretti understands how important the “final step of breast cancer treatment” is for many survivors in helping to restore self-esteem and fully heal the mind, body and spirit.
For approximately every $10,000 My Hope Chest collects, they pay for the reconstruction surgery of a breast cancer survivor.

By simply “liking” the official Olga® Facebook page and then clicking the Virtual Quilt button at the top of the page, users will be prompted to create a personalized quilt panel, which can include special messages and dedications. The Virtual Quilt page will display all message panels and Facebook fans can easily share the page across social networks, allowing their friends to begin the process of customizing their own panel in three easy steps.
